Most of us were never taught how to build real, lasting friendship and somewhere between childhood and adulthood, it got a lot harder. The Table is a twelve-week journey for twelve people, learning what Jesus modeled about friendship and practicing it together, patience, honesty, initiative, and how to repair what gets broken. Each week, you'll learn one quality of healthy friendship rooted in Scripture, reflect with the whole group, and practice it one-on-one with a different person each session, building real confidence in real relationship, not just theory. What's shared at the table stays at the table. Confidentiality isn't a rule here, it's the soil trust grows in. Is this for you? Maybe you have people around you, but no one who really knows you. Maybe you're good at being there for everyone else, but not sure who's there for you. Maybe you've tried community before, and it never went deeper than small talk, or it went too deep too fast, and you've kept your distance ever since. If any of that sounds familiar, The Table was built for you. As the weeks deepen, so do the relationships. By the end, many tables don't want to end, and they don't have to. What's practiced here is meant to be carried home, into your own friendships, family, and community. "When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognised him" Luke 24:30–31. On the road to Emmaus, it wasn't an elaborate meal that opened the disciples' eyes; it was the simple act of breaking bread together. That's the heart of The Table. Bring what you have to share. What matters isn't what's on the table, it's who's around it. Come as you are.
