Statement of Faith
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” - Ephesians 2:8
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, the final standard for all matters of faith, truth, and life. Scripture is God’s complete and sufficient revelation to humanity, given to reveal His character, establish His truth, and guide His people. We believe divine revelation is complete in the canon of Scripture, and that nothing is to be added to or taken from God’s written Word. What many experience as personal revelation is more accurately understood as illumination - the Holy Spirit making what is already written come alive in the heart and mind of the believer, in a specific moment, for a specific purpose.
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - equal in nature, distinct in person, and united in purpose. God is a good Father, trustworthy in character, faithful in presence, and good in all His ways.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the atoning sacrifice for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to the right hand of the Father. He is Lord, Savior, Redeemer, and King - and He is coming again.
Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone - not by works, but by the finished work of the cross. All who repent and believe are forgiven, justified, and born again by the Spirit of God. We practice believer’s baptism as a public declaration of faith and identification with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Justification & Sanctification
We believe justification and sanctification are two distinct but inseparable works of God in the life of every believer. Justification is the immediate, complete, and legal declaration that we are righteous before God, not because of anything we have done, but because of the finished work of Jesus Christ. Sanctification is the ongoing, lifelong process of being transformed into the likeness of Christ as the Holy Spirit renews our minds, reshapes our desires, and aligns our lives with God’s truth. Where justification establishes our position before God, sanctification shapes our practice in the world. Together, they tell the full story: we are saved in a moment and transformed over a lifetime.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, fully God, active and present today. He draws people to Christ, convicts of sin, regenerates, indwells, empowers, and transforms believers. We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are active today, given for the building up of the Body of Christ and the advancement of His Kingdom. We believe in the ongoing work of illumination — the Spirit opening the eyes and hearts of believers to understand, receive, and apply the truth of Scripture in ways that are personal, timely, and transformative.
Identity & Humanity
We believe every person is created in the image of God and carries inherent worth, dignity, and purpose. We believe true identity is found in Christ alone, and that lasting transformation flows from knowing who God says we are. Every person, regardless of their story or season, is seen, known, and loved by God.
Restoration & Transformation
We believe God is in the business of restoring broken lives. Through His Word, His Spirit, and His people, He transforms hearts, renews minds, and restores purpose — making what was broken whole again. We believe God pursues every person with relentless grace and unfailing love, but He will not force. Restoration begins the moment a heart turns toward Him, and He meets it there.
The Church
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ — called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and love one another. Every believer is called to community and to participate in God’s ongoing work in the world. Discipleship is not a program but a way of life.
Eternity
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, the return of Jesus Christ, and the reality of eternal life with God for those who believe, and eternal separation from God for those who do not. We live and serve in light of eternity.
“Identity is the foundation. Truth is the seed. Reflection is the bridge. Community is the environment. Transformation is the process. Discipleship is the journey. Christ is the source.” - Restored By God’s Grace
